We are sorry to announce the sudden passing of our longtime member, Pat Haliburton. Pat was a strong supporter and advocate for all the AMSBC stands for and achieved.
He was a man of great integrity and will be a great loss to all of his family, friends and the local marine community.
It is with great sorrow we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Patrick Arthur Haliburton on March 17, 2022, at Lion’s Gate Hospital. Pat will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life, Vicky (nee Bishop), his loving daughter Nadine (Scott Furnell) and grandson Jacob. He will be dearly missed by his siblings; Elizabeth, Bill (Dawn Marie), Robert (Brenna), Donald (Jane) and AJ. Pat was a wonderful ‘Papa’ to his step-grandchildren Amber (Jordan) and Chelsea (Mike), a loving ‘big Papa’ to great-grandchildren Lilly, Liam, and Lucas and a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Everyone who knew him knew he was the kind of man who could be counted on; someone who would come through whenever he was needed; someone worthy of the deepest respect.

There will be a Celebration of his Life planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to one of the charities he regularly supported; Canadian Cancer Society or Lions Gate Hospital Foundation.
